During my contract work with Family History Intelligence, I embarked on a comprehensive marketing and public relations journey to promote the company's unique family history services and establish valuable partnerships with luxury retirement communities. I began by conducting extensive market research, identifying potential mailing lists and relevant retirement communities to target. Through direct communication and multiple follow-ups, I successfully explored various marketing opportunities within these communities. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in drafting creative content for advertising, designing eye-catching marketing assets, and aligning our sales tools with the company's brand strategy. DIVING INTO TARGET AUDIENCE IDENTIFICATION & OUTREACH

This involved identifying specific communities and cities with advertising potential and procuring mailing lists to connect with our target audience. In parallel, I explored various digital platforms for securing coverage, including podcasts, eblasts, newsletters, and email marketing lists. By establishing connections and partnerships with key individuals at relevant retirement communities, I worked diligently to initiate relationships and lay the groundwork for future collaborations. These efforts contributed to a robust marketing strategy designed to propel our services to new heights.

 

GARNERING NATIONAL PRESS ATTENTION

In the second phase of my contract, I shifted my focus towards public relations efforts. My role entailed producing compelling written content that highlighted Family History Intelligence, securing press coverage in both local and national publications, and featuring in local newspapers and targeted communities. I collaborated closely with company ownership to create a cohesive narrative that presented relevant news and unique client stories.

This approach garnered significant press attention and added depth to our brand story. Simultaneously, I engaged with a broad range of press contacts, and through persistent outreach and pitching, I secured additional coverage in various mediums, such as podcasts, radio shows, newsletters, and more. These accomplishments further advanced our brand's visibility and long-term strategic business objectives, culminating in a comprehensive marketing plan that encapsulated our findings and set the stage for future growth.

  • Strategic Planning and High-Profile Visits: Collaborated with key stakeholders to plan and execute high-profile visits to Gateway's facilities, including visits from the Governor and local media.
